Welcome to Freedom Health Centre

The doctor and staff at Freedom Health Centre in Plymouth are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like.

Access to the Premises

The main entrance to the Practice is well-marked and is at the side of the building in Pentyre Terrace. There is time-limited parking usually available, on the public roads close to the Practice.

Disabled Access

For patients with a physical impairment, the most level access is at the front entrance to the building in Lipson Road. Please ring the front door bell and you will always be assisted by our staff who, if required will be able to provide ramps for easy access. You will be seen for your appointment or other needs on the ground floor.

Patient Participation Group

The practice is setting up a Patient Participation Group. Would you be happy to be part of such a group, which would meet  four times a year at the surgery?

Alternatively, would you be happy to be contacted, via e-mail, no more than five times a year to give us your views:

Typical topics for consideration might be about

  • Service we provide and any proposed changes
  • Setting our priorities for the future
  • Helping to agree questions for wider surveys
